Mission Statement
The Schola Cantorum of Delaware County (SCDC) is a volunteer organization with the purpose of cultivating a renewed interest in the treasury of Catholic Sacred Music known as Gregorian Chant. The SCDC is designed to provide church musicians, laity and Catholic clergy the opportunity to learn, sing and understand this captivating repertoire in a liturgical setting. The Schola collaborates with various churches in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, PA and is centralized in Delaware County.
